Book Review: The Girlfriend by Michelle Frances

What will happen when a mother tells a lie to save her son from the girlfriend who wants to take everything away from his mother? Laura is successful, rich, and very close to her son Daniel. Cherry is young, beautiful, and smart and she wants Laura's life. Daniel is caught in the middle of the two women he loves. An accident happens and a lie is told. Who will end up on top?

The beginning was too slow for me. The end was rushed. The middle was very entertaining. Two hard women, willing to do anything, and the man caught between. These women are treacherous. This was a unique clash of forces. I felt so sorry for Daniel. Could have been a five star with a better end and beginning!
