The Last Place You'd Look by Carole Moore

Are you interested in those who are missing? Do you want to find out more about why they are missing, why they are not found, and who is searching for them? Then, this is the book for you!
The Last Place You'd Look by Carole Moore

The book includes high profile missing cases, along with little known cases. It also spans the years. It really is an interesting and informative read. I learned so much that I didn't know about how to report someone missing, what steps to follow, who to contact, why you should report immediately, and where to go for extra help. There is a lot of information in this book, that hopefully no one will ever have to use, but would be so helpful for someone in this terrible situation.
All types of stories are covered here. Children taken by parents, those missing in foreign countries, those who are never seen again, and those who are found, all are covered extensively in this book. Some of the stories are so heartbreaking and you feel so bad for those left behind to wonder what happened. Other stories are of a triumphant return to waiting families.
The stories are shuffled in between the tips and stories of the people who search for the missing. Pay careful attention when reading, because some of the stories are hard to keep straight. The stories of those who dedicate their lives to finding the missing are also worth reading. It takes a special person to follow all these leads, down many dark alleys.
The best parts of the book, in my opinion, are the places listed to do continued research. The tips and hints are wonderful reminders of how to keep those around you safe. This is a good start for those interested in the stories of the missing. A very informative and helpful guide that is totally worth a look.
