I guess it probably doesn't look like I have favorite authors. I just get most of my books from the library. If I do own a book, I don't keep it unless it is something special.
VC Andrews! What a flashback! I read Flowers in the Attic in high school and thought it was so scandalous, haha
ReplyDeleteI used to read VC Andrews! I used to love them. I only tend to hang onto a book if it's something special as well.
ReplyDeleteI went through a period where I had a huge stack of Ann Rule books but I seem to have gotten rid of them, probably because I wasn't planning on rereading them. I think it is really neat to see the lists this week because, to some degree, they represent what we read as children (or to our children). So often we are busy focusing on the here and now that we forget to look back on the special books that built our literary foundation.
