Top Ten Tuesday: The Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books By

http://www.brokeandbookish.com

My top ten authors I own the most books by:

1. V.C. Andrews 17 books
2.  Jodi Picoult 8 books
3.  Jennifer McMahon 5 books
4.  Mary Downing Hahn 5 books
5.  Ann Rule 5 books
6.  Sarah Addison Allen 4 books
7.  Leslie Rule 4 books
8.  Julie Kagawa 4 books
9.  Willow Cross 4 books
10. Carol Goodman 3 books

I guess it probably doesn't look like I have favorite authors. I just get most of my books from the library. If I do own a book, I don't keep it unless it is something special.

  1. VC Andrews! What a flashback! I read Flowers in the Attic in high school and thought it was so scandalous, haha

  2. I used to read VC Andrews! I used to love them. I only tend to hang onto a book if it's something special as well.

  3. I went through a period where I had a huge stack of Ann Rule books but I seem to have gotten rid of them, probably because I wasn't planning on rereading them. I think it is really neat to see the lists this week because, to some degree, they represent what we read as children (or to our children). So often we are busy focusing on the here and now that we forget to look back on the special books that built our literary foundation. Here is my list and you will see that I have several books that were special to my children (and me) while they were growing up. MyTTT-Anne@HeadFullofBooks

  4. This prompt was a lot of fun this week! Jodi Picoult made my list--I have 12 of hers. I haven't read anything by Ann Rule in ages, but I used to LOVE her books!
